Volunteer registration will start on 28 February 2011!

The Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2011 relies heavily on volunteers for a variety of jobs, before and on the Race Day.

Some of the key areas where volunteers help is required include:

• Race Entry Pack assembly (21 June 2011, 6.00pm - 10.00pm)
• Race Entry Pack distribution (22, 23, 24 June 2011, 12pm - 8pm; 25 June 2011 11am - 7pm)
• Route
  • Fruits and drinks distribution (26 June, 3am - 11am)
  • Course marshals (26 June, 3am - 11am)
• Start- & Finish Area
  • Crowd Control at the Finish Line (26 June, 3am - noon)
  • Check out Area Runners (26 June, 3am - noon)
  • Baggage Counter and collection and return of Runner's Event Day Bag (26 June, 3am - noon)

Volunteers will help the Organiser to ensure that runners from across the world will have a great time in the city of Kuala Lumpur and experience the best of Malaysian hospitality.
